PSI Nigeria is a dynamic platform implementing cutting edge programming to improve women’s access to vital reproductive health services. PSI is looking for a Clinical Services Manager to work as a cohesive team to deliver WHP Nigeria goals, objective, and results in a timely manner. He/She will report to PSI Nigeria Senior Quality Assurance Manager and will coordinate the activities of Clinical Service Consultants in Nasarawa and Kano States.
Your contribution
In collaboration with other team members, identify health facilities for partnership in the states
Recruits’ facilities that meet set criteria by administering facility assessment check list
Ensures that facilities identified as franchisee maintain recommended standard and always abide by the contractual agreement.
Recruit’s providers in these facilities by administering recruitment checklist
Ensures that at every point in time a trained provider is present in these facilities by keeping a watch on provider attrition and administering the providers status change form
Maintain a data base of providers and health facilities in the intervention areas
Organizes competency- based trainings and refresher trainings on LARC, Harm Reduction, PAC, MVA and Miso for PAC for PSIN network providers in both private and public facilities
Conducts continuous supportive supervision visits (SSVs) and on-the-job coaching to franchisee facility providers in FCT & Nasarawa State
Monitor’s providers trained on client-based record management for provision of improved services at the facility level.
Maintains a data base of IUD and Implant insertions, other FP methods and misoprostol distribution & MVA from partner health facilities.
Maintains a record of SSVs findings and action plans with timelines of franchisee facilities in the intervention states
Harmonizes and submit monthly report of WHP activities including MIS forms from partner facilities on or before the 7th of a new month using approved format
Develops quarterly summary report, analyze for programme improvement and expansion
Articulates and develops human interest stories from providers and community members
Coordinates, participates, and provides support for Community services health insurance project (CBSHIP) and research activities in the intervention states
Contributes in the development of IEC and promotional materials as well as job aids by providing feedback from community providers perspective during program development
Ensures the delivery of the commodities and facilitate the learning or sharing and the use of materials mean for providers as well as persons of Women of reproductive health (WRA) in intervention sites.
Acts as a lead resource person data bank on all Reproductive health services issues concerning the intervention states, working closely with stakeholders (in public, private, NGOs and professional bodies.
Works as a cohesive team to ensure that the WHP Nigeria goals, objective and the results are met in timely fashion
Support Community base services health insurance project (CBSHIP) and research activities in Nasarawa state.
Collaborate and coordinate the activities of Clinical Service Consultants in Nasarawa and Kano States.
Responsible for the development and submission of monthly and quarterly reports of Quality Assurance interventions timely.
What are we looking for?
Qualification:
Bachelor’s in medicine (MBBS).
Registered Nurse & Midwife (RN/RM) or RM only.
BSc Nursing, MPH or Master in Community health will be an added advantage.
Experience:
3-5 years’ experience as FP/RH provider or Trainer.
Previous experience working with NGO/CBO as FP/RH Clinical Services
Provider /Trainer will be an added advantage
